ZTE Indoor Macro BTS ZXC10-BTSB : The Highest Capacity CDMA Macro-BTS

The full name of ZXC10 BTSB is ZXC10 BTSB CDMA2000 Base Transceiver Station. As the industry-leading CDMA macro-BTS rolled out by ZTE, ZXC10 BTSB has such advantages as a small size, a large capacity, a small weight, and a small footprint. In addition, ZXC10 BTSB can be installed against the wall.

Key Value
Super-large Capacity
A single BTSB cabinet (single BDS shelf and single local RF system) can supports up to 8C (Carrier) 3S (Sector) or 4C6S. And it can support 8C6S or 16C3S upon cabinet combination;
Large capacity not only reduces the number of BTSs used in areas with heavy traffic, but also saves the construction cost in auxiliary facilities such as transmission, equipment room, power supply, and tower.

Installation Against the Wall
The BTSB can be installed against the wall. All operations and maintenance activities for the BTSB can be conducted at the front door, helping installation and maintenance.

Small Footprint
The BTSB uses a structure of high integration. The BTS only needs a small space, and greatly saves the investment for the equipment room.

Providing both 1X and DO on a Single Cabinet
It supports the interchangeable insertion of CHMs of 1x and CHMs of 1xEV-DO in one Cabinet, providing convenient maintenance for future upgrade.1X and EV-DO systems share RF components.

Broadband RF
The CBTS RF board supports a broad frequency band. Four carriers within 10 MHz bandwidth can be flexibly configured.

High Reliability
The clock system accommodates the GPS and the GLONASS at the same time;   GPS adopts dual-ovenized crystal to ensure short-term stability of the clock. The HOLDOVER algorithm is adopted to enable 72-hour locked mode after the GPS signals are lost, so that the normal operation of the BTS can be guaranteed.

Smooth Capacity Expansion and Update
A single digital baseband shelf enables 24 carrier-sectors and supports smooth expansion up to 120 carrier-sectors by stack overlapping. The BTSB supports smooth capacity expansion of carrier-sectors, either from a single carrier to multiple carriers or from a single sector to multiple sectors.
The BTSB supports smooth update to next 3G technology such as 1xEV-DO Rev B, and smooth evolution to the
All-IP network.

Flexible Networking Modes
When both the BTS and the BSC are installed in the same equipment room or they are placed near each other, it is recommended to connect them directly through Ethernet. In this case, a complicated Abis link compression protocol is not required. Thus the cost is reduced and the reliability is improved.

Convenient Operation and Maintenance
The BTSB has a powerful capability of in-service upgrade (including logic, MCU program, BOOT program, and FLASH file) to ease maintenance.
